Associate Director – Joint Ventures

Role Overview:

The Associate Director – Joint Ventures is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial performance of joint ventures, including Arada London. This role ensures robust financial control, accurate reporting, and strategic oversight of JV operations to support decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight of JVs
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of joint ventures, including budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
  • Ensure all JV financials are accurately maintained and reported in compliance with company standards.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the preparation of JV budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide insights on variances and advise management on corrective actions.
  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for JVs.
  • Present financial results, key metrics, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Strategic Support
  • Support Mathew and the leadership team in strategic planning and business decisions related to JVs.
  • Evaluate financial risks and opportunities within joint ventures.
  • Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure JV financial operations comply with internal policies and relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate audits and financial reviews as required.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the key finance liaison between Arada and JV partners.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, auditors, and external partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with significant exposure to joint ventures or corporate finance.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
