Biology Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Biology Teacher (AS/A Level) to deliver high-quality Biology instruction and support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons in line with British Curriculum and examination board requirements.
- Prepare students for AS/A Level examinations through effective teaching, practical activities, revision, and targeted academic support.
- Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and implement appropriate interventions to improve achievement.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and contribute to departmental development, assessment, and school improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree/Master’s in Biology or a related subject with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Biology at AS/A Level, preferably in a British Curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of relevant examination board specifications and practical laboratory work.
- Excellent command of English, with strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Certicates must be MOFA attested and with Equivalency/Genuinity certificate.
