Job Description

Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Kaleem Studio is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the studio’s financial health and strategic financial direction. The CFO will manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow, and maintain accurate financial statements and records. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial performance, preparing and analyzing financial reports, advising leadership on financial risks and opportunities, and supporting pricing and investment decisions. The CFO will collaborate with the executive team to align financial strategies with business goals and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to guide overall financial strategy and decision-making.
• Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting and cash flow management.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Experience in a creative, media, or content-focused business environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards.
