Job Description
A Clinical Psychologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals experiencing mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based psychological care to improve overall mental well-being and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed psychological assessments and clinical interviews
- Diagnose mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions (CBT, psychotherapy, counseling)
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s / M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
- Valid professional license or registration (mandatory)
- Prior clinical or internship experience preferred
- Knowledge of psychological testing tools and therapy techniques
