Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct interactive and structured dance classes for students across various age groups and skill levels.
Teach foundational and advanced techniques in one or more dance styles such as classical, folk, contemporary, or fusion.
Choreograph and direct dance performances for school functions, annual days, assemblies, and inter-school competitions.
Foster confidence, coordination, and appreciation for cultural heritage through dance.
Ensure student safety, inclusion, and engagement during rehearsals and performances.
Collaborate with academic and co-curricular staff for interdisciplinary cultural projects and events.
Mentor and prepare talented students for solo and group competitions at internal and external platforms.
Maintain records of student participation, rehearsal schedules, and performance logistics including costumes and props.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, Dance, or a related field.
Certification or formal training in a recognized dance discipline is required.
B.Ed. is preferred.
Experience:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching dance in a school setting (CBSE curriculum preferred).
Visa Status:

Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
Proficiency in one or more dance forms and performance preparation.
Creative, energetic, and student-centered approach to teaching.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
Passionate about arts education and cultural development of students.
