Job Description

The Data Manager will oversee the accurate collection, management, and analysis of student, staff, and school performance data to inform strategic decision-making. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and expertise in data systems and analysis, supporting the school’s mission of delivering academic excellence.

  • Ensure Data Accuracy And Security:Maintain consistency, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Generate Performance Reports:Provide detailed reports for stakeholders, including SLT, staff, and regulators like KHDA.
  • Submit Data For Audits And Inspections:Prepare accurate datasets for compliance and regulatory reviews.
  • Analyze Student Performance Data:Identify trends and provide insights for improvement and decision-making.
  • Support Curriculum Development With Data:Use insights to enhance teaching strategies and staff training.
  • Monitor Attendance, Behavior, And Progress:Track key metrics and share findings with stakeholders.
  • Manage Education Platforms:Oversee learning management systems, assessment tools, and communication portals.
  • Align Data Strategies With School Goals:Collaborate with SLT to use data effectively for school improvement.

Skills

  • Degree In A Relevant Field:A degree in Data Science, IT, or a related field provides the foundational knowledge for this role.
  • Experience In Data Management:Prior experience, preferably in an educational setting, ensures familiarity with managing sensitive data and school systems.
  • Familiarity With British Curriculum Requirements:Understanding this framework is an advantage for aligning data with academic standards.
  • Proficiency In Data Visualization Tools:Skills in tools like Excel, Power BI etc to enable effective data presentation and analysis.
  • Strong Numerical And Analytical Skills:Essential for interpreting complex data and providing actionable insights.
  • Ability To Present Data Clearly:Ensures stakeholders understand and utilize data for decision-making.
  • Excellent Communication Skills:Necessary for training and supporting staff in data-related processes.
