The Post: Design & Technology Teacher

Deira International School is seeking a dynamic and passionate Design & Technology teacher to join our team in August 2025. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to our highly successful DT department in addition to a strong all-round contribution to the ethos of our international school.  The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to teach DT up to and including iGCSE at Key Stage 4 and IB or A-Level at Key Stage 5.

The successful applicant will be required to have the following:

·      Experience teaching GCSE and IB/A Level Design & Technology

·      A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.

·      A proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.

·      A mind-set which understands all students have the potential for top performance, and the drive and passion to enable them to do so.

·      Experience which will enable a contribution to our enriched curriculum programme.
