KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the Cyber security strategy development, planning & execution
• Drive the Security vision, strategy & principles, monitor performance of cyber security
• Oversees the adoption and implementation of governance frameworks within Cyber Security and e& (ISO 2700X, ITIL, COBIT/Risk IT and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), UAE NESA)
• Ensure the teams are cyber resilient to help with readiness and response related to cyber incidents
• Perform business demand evaluation for security needs from within Cyber Security team & other Tech & IT teams
• Lead and guide the development of security best practices, governance frameworks and adoption of standards within the Cyber Security division and e& Technology & IT division
• Manage, implement, direct, develop and recommend adoption of Governance and Compliance frameworks
• Establish security policies in compliance with industry standards
• Direct the Risk Management, assessment, acceptance, governance lead to ensure organization?s security
• Industry best practices to secure & mitigate risks to Etisalat critical infrastructures
• Provide directional supervision for the adoption of Security Enterprise Architecture based on TOGAF and other publicly available guidelines
• Ideate & cascade security solutions including expansions and maturing of services to implementation teams
• Align network security KPIs against standards, policies and guidelines as well as international benchmarks.
• Work with other Network Security sections to manages internal and external interfaces ensuring compliance to Etisalat corporate policies, standards and best practice guidelines.
• Develop & implement programs to enhance the awareness on security issues & to exchange security know-how across the organization.
• Provide regular reporting on the current status of the cyber security programs to management and senior leaders as part of a strategic information governance management program.
• Review and submit Manpower, Capital and Operating expenses budget proposals for the section for management approval. Develop and manage cyber security budgets, and monitor them for variances
• Keep abreast of new technologies, systems and developments related to Cyber Security.
• Work directly with the other units to facilitate Governance Risk and Compliance processes and practices
• Provide professional guidance, support and coaching to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions.
• ISO 2700X, ITIL, COBIT/Risk IT and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), UAE NESA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, Data Privacy, Strategy, Risk Management, Control, 5G, Architecture, IOT Security AWS Microsoft Oracle Strategy Maturity 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
