The Field Support Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various technical equipment and systems on-site. They will troubleshoot problems, diagnose issues, and provide timely solutions to ensure the continuous operation of the equipment. The Field Support Engineer should have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission technical equipment, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to identify any faults or issues.
- Diagnose and repair technical problems, both hardware and software-related.
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting services to customers.
- Collaborate with engineers and service technicians to resolve complex problems.
- Keep accurate records of all work done, including repairs and maintenance performed.
- Train end-users on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in the field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Field Support Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of equipment and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and customer service abilities.
