The Role

We are hiring a Finance Specialist to support a leading Abu Dhabi Government entity, with a strong focus on Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with government-sector exposure to contribute to a high-impact public sector finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Fixed Assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation schedules, and asset register maintenance
  • Process and oversee Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls
  • Reconcile fixed asset and AP subledgers with the general ledger
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets and payables
  • Liaise with vendors, internal departments, and auditors on finance-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with government financial policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports and schedules as required by management and audit teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–7 years of overall experience in finance, with demonstrated depth in Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • ACCA, CPA, or CMA certification preferred
  • Prior experience working with an Abu Dhabi Government entity is required
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within government compliance frameworks
