Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Accountant role based in Dubai. The Financial Accountant will prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards. Responsibilities include managing general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves preparing financial reports for management, monitoring cash flows, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Financial Accountant will also maintain and optimize the use of accounting software, support internal and external audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related financial systems, with the ability to improve processes and controls.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills, including attention to detail and the ability to identify trends, variances, and risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Good understanding of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced trading and distribution environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance teams and management.
