Job Description
- Manage UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance, filings, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with FTA requirements, including TRN and Corporate Tax registrations.
- Prepare Corporate Tax returns, VAT returns, and tax reconciliations.
- Manage the company’s In-Country Value (ICV) certification process and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Maintain audit-ready records and support annual external audits.
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Prepare and analyze:
- Profit & Loss Statements (P&L)
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Statements
- Tax Statements
- Financial Management Reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and profitability analysis.
- Manage banking relationships and cash flow requirements.
- Implement and control the Purchase Order (PO) process.
- Manage vendor registration, compliance, and payment processes.
- Review supplier contracts, invoices, and tax documentation.
- Support cost control and procurement reporting activities.
- Process monthly payroll through WPS.
- Manage GPSSA, pension contributions, EOSB calculations, leave encashments, final settlements, and payroll reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and payroll regulations.
- Support finance-related PRO activities, government submissions, and regulatory documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification (mandatory).
- UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, or ICV-related certifications are highly desirable.
Experience
- 5-8 years of UAE experience in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, and Compliance.
- Strong practical experience in:
- Corporate Tax
- VAT
- Payroll & WPS
- Financial Reporting
- P&L and Balance Sheet Preparation
- Procurement & Purchase Orders
- Vendor Management
- ICV Certification
- External Audits
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, UAE Labour Law, and ICV requirements.
- Proficiency in EmaraTax, Zoho, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Language & Competencies
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
