About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled General Accountant to support our finance operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial policies • Assist with VAT filings, audits, and statutory requirements • Support month-end and year-end closing processes • Review financial data for accuracy and completeness • Coordinate with internal and external auditors • Contribute to process improvements and financial controls
Requirements
About You
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who meets the following mandatory criteria:
• ACCA or CA qualified (candidates still pursuing the qualification will not be considered) • Previous experience in an audit firm • Experience in the service industry • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and audit principles • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills • Must be currently based in the UAE
