The Locum General Practitioner specializes in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology to provide high-quality, comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care. The role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing adult diseases, with a specific emphasis on gastrointestinal disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diverse acute and chronic adult medical conditions.
- Diagnose and treat complex gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Formulate evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications.
- Refer patients to specialized consultants when clinically indicated.
- Maintain accurate, confidential electronic medical records (EMR).
- Provide preventative health counseling and patient education.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience working in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology clinics.
- Licensure: Active DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
- Availability: Must be able to join immediately.
- Skills: Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication, and fluency in English.
