Head of Finance

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Head of Finance to lead our central finance function across a multi-market food group. Our businesses span food distribution serving foodservice and retail customers, and meat and seafood processing.

The role carries end-to-end responsibility for accounting, reporting, compliance, planning, liquidity and financial performance. You will lead the finance and accounting team, strengthen operational and financial controls, and provide management with clear information to support business decisions.

What You Will Own

• Group accounting, month-end close, consolidation and management reporting.
• VAT, Corporate Tax, e-invoicing, statutory compliance and external audits.
• Annual budgets, rolling forecasts, FP&A and performance analysis.
• Cash flow, treasury, banking, trade finance and working capital.
• Inventory valuation, product costing, production yield, waste and margins.
• Financial modelling for pricing, capital expenditure, funding, investments and expansion.
• Finance policies, internal controls, approval processes and risk management.
• Finance systems, process improvement, workflow automation and reporting.
• Leadership and development of the finance and accounting team.

What You Will Bring

• Strong financial accounting, consolidation, reporting and control capability.
• Hands-on knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and e-invoicing.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and financial modelling skills.
• Experience managing cash flow, treasury, banking, trade finance and working capital.
• Experience in food distribution, food retail, and/or food processing business.
• Strong understanding of inventory, product costing, yield, waste and gross margins.
• Experience improving finance systems, processes, controls and reporting.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate clearly across the business.

Reporting

The role reports directly to the Managing Director or another senior executive, as assigned.

Job Location

The role is based at our headquarters in Dubai Investment Park and may require occasional local and international travel.
