Job Description: Informatics Practices Teacher
Job Overview:
The Informatics Practices (IP) Teacher is responsible for delivering structured instruction in computer science concepts such as Python programming, MySQL, data handling, and data visualization. The ideal candidate should possess a strong command of informatics subjects, demonstrate the ability to teach both theoretical and practical lessons, and ensure alignment with the CBSE curriculum and KHDA compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
Deliver CBSE-aligned lessons in Informatics Practices covering programming (Python), database management (MySQL), data visualization, and basic computer networks.
Conduct both theoretical and practical sessions with a focus on real-life applications.
Prepare detailed lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and board exam revision materials.
Guide students through project work and assessments in compliance with board standards.
Student Engagement & Skill Building:
Promote coding, logical reasoning, and tech literacy through interactive teaching.
Encourage participation in coding competitions, ICT fairs, and innovation projects.
Support students needing extra help or enrichment based on individual performance.
Classroom Management & Inclusivity:
Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and tech-friendly learning atmosphere.
Incorporate differentiated instruction to meet varied learning styles and needs.
Parental Communication & Collaboration:
Provide regular progress updates to parents and guardians.
Engage in school-wide ICT projects and digital learning integration with other departments.
Professional Development & Compliance:
Stay up to date with CBSE curriculum changes and new technologies in Informatics.
Ensure compliance with KHDA regulations and data security standards.
Participate in school training programs, workshops, and professional learning initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered).
Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Informatics Practices in a CBSE school setting.
Experience in preparing students for CBSE board exams is preferred.
Visa Status:
Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.

Proficiency in Python, SQL, data visualization tools, and core ICT concepts.
