Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Internal Medicine Specialist based in Kalba. The Internal Medicine Specialist will provide comprehensive primary and specialized internal medicine care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating care with cardiology and critical care teams when needed. The role involves close collaboration with other physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. The Internal Medicine Specialist will also participate in clinical documentation, quality improvement initiatives, and adherence to clinical guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience in adult internal medicine.
  • Ability to work effectively with Critical Care Nursing teams, including coordination of care for complex and high-acuity patients.
  • Knowledge of Cardiology principles relevant to internal medicine, including management of common cardiovascular conditions.
  • Demonstrated experience in Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completed residency in Internal Medicine; board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine preferred.
  • Valid professional license to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the UAE.
  • Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.
  • Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, quality initiatives, and adoption of advanced healthcare technologies.
