Job Description
SAIS, Umm Al Quwain, is seeking a qualified and passionate Islamic Studies Teacher B to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Islamic Studies to students, fostering a deep understanding of Islamic principles, culture, and ethics. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Islamic Studies, along with the ability to create an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that promotes spiritual growth and cultural appreciation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Islamic Studies that align with the school curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to explore and deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings and values.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students’ progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to promote a holistic educational experience.
- Participate in school events, activities, and Islamic cultural programs to enhance students’ learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and attendance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Studies.
- Teaching diploma or recognized teaching qualification.
- IELTS score of 6.5 or a minimum of 6.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Islamic Studies.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students in their learning journey.
- Commitment to professional growth and development in education.
