- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards and best practices in inquiry-based learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including English Language Learners and students identified as gifted and talented.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture that promotes collaboration, curiosity, and student well-being.
- Use technology and innovative approaches to enhance learning experiences.
- Assess student progress through varied, authentic methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan cohesive units and contribute to ongoing curriculum development.
- Participate actively in the school’s co-curricular and community programmes to support holistic learning.
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a subject-related degree with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PGDE/state teaching license or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Arabic /Islamic at Kindergarten level, ideally within an British curriculum (preferred but not essential).
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and support students through engaging, purposeful learning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and reflective approach.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and contributing to the school’s positive, inclusive culture.
