The Lead Mechanical Engineer also coordinates with other departments, clients, and contractors to ensure technical compliance and project quality. They contribute to the development of design standards and promote innovation in mechanical engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Plan, budget, and schedule project activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure design compliance and accuracy.
• Support the procurement process by reviewing and approving mechanical equipment and materials.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any technical issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure best practices are followed.
• Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering license or certification.
• Extensive experience in mechanical engineering, including project management.
• Proficient in CAD software and engineering design tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
