Company Description Green Grass Nursery (GGN), established in 2013, is a top-rated British boutique nursery in Dubai, with branches in Jumeirah and Manara. GGN provides a nurturing, homely environment where children aged one to five can learn, grow, and build confidence at their own pace. As Dubai’s first fully bilingual Arabic and English nursery, GGN integrates Arabic from the early years using the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework and incorporates the Reggio Emilia approach. The nursery focuses on fostering bilingualism to strengthen problem-solving, cultural awareness, and effective communication.

Role Description The Nursery Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of the nursery. This role oversees the planning and delivery of high-quality early years education, ensuring that the EYFS framework, bilingual learning, and the Reggio Emilia approach are implemented consistently. The Nursery Manager will lead, coach, and support a team of early years practitioners, manage staffing schedules, and coordinate with administration to maintain effective nursery operations. Key responsibilities include safeguarding and welfare of children, maintaining regulatory and KHDA compliance, and building strong, trust-based relationships with families through regular communication and feedback. The role also involves monitoring classroom practice, tracking children’s development, managing resources and budgets, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and quality standards across the nursery.

Qualifications

• Strong nursery leadership capabilities, including experience in Nursery and Nursery Management within an early years setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Safeguarding and Safeguarding Children practices, with a commitment to child protection and well-being.
• Excellent Communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field; leadership or management training is an advantage.
• Familiarity with EYFS and child-centered pedagogies (e.g., Reggio Emilia), plus experience in bilingual or multicultural environments is highly beneficial.
• Proven ability to manage teams, organize daily operations, and maintain regulatory and health and safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to foster an inclusive, supportive, and professional nursery culture.
• Fluent in Arabic and English ( written and spoken )
• Min of 5 years of experience in UAE nursery managment .
