Nursery Principal

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Principal to lead our nursery in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have proven leadership experience in a UAE early childhood education setting and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and child wellbeing.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, with a strong understanding of ADEK policies, regulations, licensing requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop teaching and administrative staff to achieve high performance.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for children.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff, and relevant regulatory authorities.
• Oversee curriculum implementation, staff performance, admissions, and operational planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Experience working in an ADEK-regulated nursery is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
