About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Outlet Manager to join the F&B Service team at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Organize and supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B Outlet and ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner (which is consistent with operating policies and procedures and delivers service excellence)
  • Ensures team maintains a consistent cleaning regime. Record stock levels and comply with stock audit requirements 
  • Monitor food hygiene standards and take proactive steps to maintain them and maintain an approach of continuous development to sustain the best hygiene standards
  • Monitor the profitability of the outlet. Identify areas and gaps for continuous improvements, provide recommendations and/or solutions to improve them and assist with implementing such corrective measures. Take initiatives to sustain them
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other Colleagues
  • Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages and service offered to guests and escalating any major problems/ complaints to senior management to ensure high service quality as per Jumeirah group quality standards 
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that Jumeirah group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests 
  • Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures. Provide instructions and guidance to subordinates where necessary. Monitor Colleague’s adherence to relevant policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence 

About You: 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience in an Outlet Manager role with a strong F&B background in a fine dining/Michelin restaurant.
  • Fluent in English with an additional international language.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Good financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and increasing profitability.
