Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a experienced NICU/PICU trained nurse who possesses expertise in establishing intravenous (IV) lines in neonates and children. The ideal candidate will be committed to best practices in pediatric nursing and will contribute to a multidisciplinary team that prioritizes the care and comfort of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates and pediatric patients coming to the clinic.
• Expertly establish and maintain IV lines in neonates and children, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety.
• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, clinical condition, and response to therapeutic interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders, adhering to established protocols and standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with clinic policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients’ families regarding treatment plans and care practices.
• Participate in continuous education, training, and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Req- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Valid DHA license in Dubai (or eligibility for licensure).
• Minimum one year of experience in a NICU/PICU setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV therapy and establishing lines in neonatal and pediatric populations.
• BLS Certification is must. Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
