Physical Education (PE) Teacher
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct engaging PE classes that focus on physical development, basic sports skills, and overall wellness.
Plan and implement age-appropriate physical activities, games, and fitness routines.
Organize and manage school-wide sports events, inter-house competitions, and inter-school tournaments.
Teach and reinforce core values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and respect.
Monitor and assess students’ participation, performance, and physical progress.
Ensure student safety during all physical activities and maintain sports equipment and inventory.
Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical activity into cross-curricular programs and health education.
Maintain records of attendance, fitness benchmarks, and student progress.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field (B.P.Ed. / M.P.Ed. mandatory).
B.Ed. is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of PE teaching experience in a CBSE school setup.
Visa Status:
Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
Knowledge of multiple sports and fitness training appropriate for school-aged children.
Strong leadership and classroom management abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to student health, safety, and overall development.
Ability to motivate students and foster a love for physical activity.
