Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, visionary, and experienced educational leader to serve as Principal of the American Curriculum. The successful candidate will oversee the strategic direction, daily management, and overall success of the school while ensuring that academic standards and pastoral care remain exemplary across all grade levels. The Principal will inspire staff, students, and parents alike through dynamic leadership and a clear vision for educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in line with the school’s mission, vision, and values.
• Ensure effective implementation of the American curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of an international student population.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment across all grade levels.
• Lead, motivate, and support staff to achieve professional excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee school operations, policies, and compliance with local and international accreditation standards.
• Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of every student.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents, staff, and the wider community.
• Manage budgets, resources, and facilities to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
• Champion innovation, digital integration, and modern educational practices within the school.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or a closely related field (Doctorate preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of proven leadership experience in international schools, including significant experience with the American curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of accreditation processes, school improvement planning, and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead whole-school operations, curriculum development, and staff professional growth.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working within diverse, multicultural school communities.
