Job Description

· Review Contractual requirements and define the interface and acceptance criteria with respect to:

  • · Inspection and Testing
  • · Materials submittals and approval
  • · Engineering shop-drawings submittals and approval
  • · Progress reporting
  • · Design change control / variations
  • · Request for information
  • · Payment certificates
  • · Forms / records to be used as verification records

· Based on requirements defined in Item 1 above:

  • · Determine project management processes
  • · Determine the sequence and interaction of these processes
  • · Determine criteria and methods needed to ensure that both the operation and monitoring of these processes are effective
  • · Ensure the availability of resources and information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of these processes
  • · Monitor, measure and analyze these processes
  • · Implement actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement.

· Incorporate contract requirements in the Project Quality Plan.

· Prepare system Installation and implementation plan, diligently implement, maintain and improve Project Management System Procedures.

· Liaison and coordination with Client / Consultant to maintain system effectiveness and resolve quality issues.

· Supervise Project quality Engineers / Inspectors ensuring diligent implementation of Inspection and Test plans.

· Hold a weekly site quality meeting with Quality Engineers / Inspectors to review the Weekly status of Quality issues / problems and report Every Wednesday any key issues to Quality Department.

· Carry out project Performance Measurement and trend analysis of:

  • Product compliance with stated requirements
  • Suppliers / Subcontractors performance
  • System compliance

· Maintain defects / deviations log and perform a Monthly trend analysis. In coordination with Project / Contraction Manager, prepare preventative actions.

· Review subcontractor’s quality system documents and submittals for compliance with contract requirements and acceptance criteria. Ensure all required documents are submitted and approved 1 week prior to commencing work on site.

· To review once a week submittal logs and schedules, monitor the status, request corrective actions where deviations are taken place from planned dates, to avoid and prevent delays in production due to lack of information and approvals.

· Monitor inspection and test results, determine variations from specified tolerances. Report to Project / Construction on a monthly basis and ensure necessary actions are taken to control variations.

· Coordinate and monitor final Commissioning & Test activities including snagging in coordination with Project / Construction Manager. All inspection / Test activities are to be completed as per scheduled dates and in accordance with Contract requirements.

· Set – up project Document & Data Control system to manage and control incoming / outgoing documents, ensure ease of retrieve, monitoring documentation status of revisions, and distribution of documents ensuring only valid and latest revisions are available at point of use.

· Commence Preparing and organizing Handing – over documents including all records three months prior to Project completion date, avoid delays during final Handing – over process.

· Identify and communicate product quality requirements to maintain consistency of product quality.
