Via Medica International Healthcare is seeking a professional and customer-oriented Clinic Receptionist to join our medical team in Al Ain. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming experience and providing efficient administrative and front-desk support in a busy 24-hour university medical clinic.Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients, students, and visitors courteously and professionally.
  • Register patients in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify patients’ insurance eligibility before consultation.
  • Process daily billing and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate with the Insurance Coordinator regarding approvals, claims, and billing requirements.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
  • Maintain accurate medical and administrative records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including filing, document management, and report preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, patient privacy regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Support the clinical team with administrative requirements as needed.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certification in Office Administration, Medical Secretary, Health Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare facility, hospital, medical center, or occupational health clinic.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
  • Willingness to work 60 hours per week on rotating day and night shifts.
