Reconciliation Officer
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-driven Reconciliation Officer to ensure financial accuracy across the revenue cycle by aligning claims, payments, and remittances. This role plays a critical part in closing revenue gaps, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining financial transparency within the healthcare insurance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end reconciliation of insurance claims, payments, and remittances (ERAs/EOBs)
- Match submitted claims with received payments and identify short payments, denials, and variances
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with insurance providers and internal billing teams
- Ensure accurate posting of payments in the system and maintain financial integrity
- Monitor outstanding claims and aging reports to drive timely closures
- Support denial management and recovery processes
- Prepare detailed reconciliation reports and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with UAE payer requirements and DHA regulations
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve reconciliation workflows and reduce revenue leakage
Eligibility Criteria
- ✔ Mandatory: Medical Coder, Finance Professional, or Healthcare Graduate
- ✔ Proven UAE experience in RCM / reconciliation / medical billing
- ✔ Strong understanding of insurance claims lifecycle and payment structures
- ✔ Experience with ERAs, EOBs, and payer remittance processes
- ✔ Familiarity with UAE insurance guidelines and payer systems
