About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our leadership team. In this pivotal new role, created in response to growing needs and the expansion of capital projects, you will support the Group CFO in overseeing the organization’s financial strategy, operations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, leadership experience, and a passion for driving organizational success through sound fiscal management and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities

·       Support the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in overseeing the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis functions.

·       Manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and project-related financial management to ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to regulatory standards.

·       Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and internal control systems in alignment with applicable accounting standards and policies.

·       Lead, coach, and develop finance team members to build a high-performing, accountable, and risk-aware finance function.

·       Assist in managing relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities, and support the preparation of feasibility studies, business cases, and other financial assessments as required.

Qualifications

• B.COM or equivalent qualification in finance or accounting from reputable university. 
• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·       Proficiency in MS Office Suite and in financial software tools.
