The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. This role involves continuous patient monitoring, administering complex treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment
  • Operate and manage life-support equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
  • Valid DOH/HAAD license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Medical – Surgical/ICU experience
  • Experience with ventilators and critical care equipment
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Must be UAE National
