The Registered Nurse – Long‑Term Care provides continuous, high‑quality nursing care to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or age‑related conditions. The RN ensures patient safety, comfort, and dignity while promoting quality of life in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to long‑term care residents based on individualized care plans
  • Perform health assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate changes in residents’ conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Coordinate and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants as required
  • Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and health conditions
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety policies, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
  • Advocate for resident rights, dignity, and person‑centered care

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • Exprience in Medical/Surgical or ICU
  • Valid DOH License/Eligibility or DHA License
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
