Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Reinsurance Finance Manager based in Dubai. The Reinsurance Finance Manager will oversee finance operations related to reinsurance activities, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities include managing reinsurance accounting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial strategies. The role also involves leading financial audits, conducting risk assessments, and supporting management with strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting
• Experience in Reinsurance Accounting and Compliance
• Proficiency in Risk Assessment and Strategic Financial Management
• Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
• Expertise in financial software tools and technologies
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai and manage responsibilities independently
• Extensive experience in reinsurance accounting, including treaty and facultative business, premium and claims accounting, and reinsurance recoverables.
• Sound understanding of IFRS 17, IFRS standards, insurance accounting principles, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred
• Industry experience in reinsurance or insurance is a strong advantage
• Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
