Job Description

HCT is looking for a Research Associate – Robotics and Autonomous Systems to provide technical and research support to the RAS Research Centre.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support robotics research and development project
  • Design, integrate, test and validate robotic system
  • Install, configure and maintain ROS/ROS 2 environment
  • Support laboratory experiments, field trials and prototype demonstrations
  • Maintain robotic platforms, laboratory equipment, software and computing infrastructure
  • Coordinate procurement of equipment, software licence and research materials
  • Maintain laboratory inventories, asset registers and maintenance records
  • Contribute to technical reports, research publications and funding proposals
  • Support industry collaborations and technical demonstrations
  • Mentor students involved in capstone projects, research activities and robotics competitions
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety requirements.
