Job Description
HCT is looking for a Research Associate – Robotics and Autonomous Systems to provide technical and research support to the RAS Research Centre.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support robotics research and development project
- Design, integrate, test and validate robotic system
- Install, configure and maintain ROS/ROS 2 environment
- Support laboratory experiments, field trials and prototype demonstrations
- Maintain robotic platforms, laboratory equipment, software and computing infrastructure
- Coordinate procurement of equipment, software licence and research materials
- Maintain laboratory inventories, asset registers and maintenance records
- Contribute to technical reports, research publications and funding proposals
- Support industry collaborations and technical demonstrations
- Mentor students involved in capstone projects, research activities and robotics competitions
- Ensure compliance with laboratory health and safety requirements.
