To support a wider range of learners, HCT introduced a new Vocational Diploma pathway alongside the existing Applied Bachelor’s programs. This pathway includes 12 new specialized programs developed based on industry needs and future workforce demands.

As a result, student enrollment has grown significantly, with the HCT community now serving more than 25,500 students across the UAE.

Strong Industry Partnerships

A key focus of our strategy is strengthening collaboration with businesses, employers, and industry partners, particularly within the private sector.

These partnerships help create valuable opportunities for students through internships, practical training, and employment pathways. By working closely with employers, we ensure that our programs remain relevant to the evolving needs of the job market.

HCT has established partnerships with numerous organizations, creating thousands of training and career opportunities for students and graduates.

Supporting National Workforce Development

As part of our commitment to supporting the UAE’s workforce development goals, HCT works closely with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (NAFIS).

Through the Health Program initiative, high school graduates are prepared for careers in healthcare and health sciences, helping meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the private healthcare sector.

Today, hundreds of students are pursuing studies in health-related fields through this initiative, building the skills needed to support the nation’s healthcare system.

Learning Through Real-World Experience

To better prepare students for successful careers, HCT introduced the Apprenticeship Program, which combines academic learning with practical workplace experience.

Through this program, students gain hands-on experience by working directly with partner organizations while continuing their studies. This allows them to apply classroom knowledge in real-world environments, develop professional skills, and build valuable industry connections.

More than 2,000 students have already benefited from this innovative approach to learning and career preparation.
