School Laboratory Technician

Job Description

ADNOC Schools is currently seeking a School Laboratory Technician. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC Schools – Madinat Zayed Campus (Western Region) for an August 2025 start.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare samples or chemical solutions and equipment for use in lab experiments or classroom exercises.
• Set up equipment for use in science and/or art classes; ensure proper operation of equipment, make repairs, and report major deficiencies to supervisor.
• Assist students in lab experiments or classroom exercises; provide instruction to students on the use of laboratory and artistic equipment. Depending on the specific position, this may include specialized scientific or artistic equipment requiring a detailed knowledge of the area of specialty.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and equipment. Carry out the procurement process (ordering, technical evaluation and receiving) of supplies and equipment.
• Apply safety, health and environmental procedures in work and in guiding students during laboratory sessions.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Duties may include preparing samples or chemical solutions, cleaning up after labs or studio sessions, assisting students in their lab or studio activities and instructing them in the use of specialized scientific or artistic equipment.
• Duties may also include the operation and maintenance of specialized scientific or artistic or engineering equipment as appropriate to the specific position.
• May perform miscellaneous administrative duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science.

Minimum Experience

• Prior experience as School Laboratory Technician for 2 years.
