Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on experience gained through a completed 3-year articleship in India.

This role is ideal for candidates who are looking to further develop their accounting and financial management expertise in a dynamic and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Support management with financial insights and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• ACCA Qualified / ACCA Part Qualified or CA Inter (India).
• Completed 3 years of Articleship in India (Mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a consultancy, audit, or professional services environment.
• Exposure to UAE accounting and compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
