Senior Accountant – Automotive Finance

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Park Lane Motors is one of the UAE’s fastest-growing independent automotive dealerships, managing a high-volume operation with over 220 vehicles in inventory and monthly sales exceeding 120 vehicles. As we continue to scale, we are strengthening our finance function to support operational excellence, financial control, and strategic growth.The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our accounting operations while supporting management with timely financial insights and robust financial controls.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing dealership accounting activities, optimizing cash flow processes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial reporting and operational performance.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including vehicle sales reconciliations, trade-ins, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
  • Monitor and coordinate the settlement of trade finance and floorplan facilities to support efficient cash utilization and minimize financing costs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and management accounts to support decision-making and business performance analysis.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance monitoring.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and related regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit processes and maintain full compliance with statutory, tax, and financial reporting obligations.
  • Collaborate with Finance Leadership to enhance reporting capabilities, process efficiencies, and data-driven decision-making initiatives, including Power BI reporting and financial analytics.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years within a UAE automotive dealership environment.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or active progression toward certification will be highly regarded.
  • Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, dealership accounting practices, and inventory financing structures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and business intelligence platforms is advantageous.
