Senior Audit Reviewer – Client Accounting

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Audit Reviewer to lead the review of financial statements and

accounting records prepared for accounting clients. The role focuses on ensuring technical

accuracy, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and overall quality prior to

external audit, regulatory submission, or management sign-off.

Key Responsibilities

Client Accounts Review & Quality Control

• Lead the review of financial statements and accounting records prepared for accounting

clients.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS / IFRS for SMEs, disclosure requirements, and presentation

standards.

• Perform high-level analytical reviews and assess material accounting judgments,

estimates, and key disclosures.

• Identify misstatements, technical issues, and areas requiring adjustment or enhancement.

• Apply professional review and audit methodologies to assess the quality and reliability of

client accounts.

• Ensure client files are audit-ready and defensible for external auditors and regulators.

• Provide clear, structured review notes and technical guidance to engagement teams.

• Ensure proper documentation of review procedures, conclusions, and sign-offs.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal review processes and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CPA / ACA)

• 4–7 years of experience in audit and financial statement review,

• Strong technical expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and professional review

methodologies.

• Proven experience reviewing accounts prepared by accounting teams or third-party

service providers.
