About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for Sales Manager (Russia&CIS) to join Leisure segment in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The main purpose
- Manages its portfolio: Russia & CIS, travel to these countries when required to attend events, sales calls, exhibitions.
- Meeting targets for designated Accounts and defined new Markets/ segments for own territory.
- Execute the sales & marketing strategy and plan of action related to own segment.
- Provides support and tactical innovation to the ADOS on Leisure Market strategy either by partners or markets.
The main responsibilities are:
- Assist in managing room rates and restrictions, preparing rooms forecasts on weekly and monthly basis.
- Produce and implement an account development plan for each managed account to achieve maximum revenue in both the short and long term.
- Execute the annual commercial plan of the hotel within the area of responsibility.
- Monitor and feedback competitors’ activities and respond to them appropriately.
- Responsible to continuously secure below and above the line marketing opportunities to position the brand and drive sales with corporate partners.
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with GSO’s and SBU’s.
- Submit weekly sales call plan & entertainment plans pro-actively to the ADOS by COB on Friday.
- Liaises with key departments like F&B and FO ensure all customer needs and requests are met.
- Maintain an accurate profile and history of all accounts in Salesforce.
- Contribute to the month end report and submit it to line manager by the end of 1st week of the month.
- Compile via JBI / Power BI on quarterly basis the results of own assigned incentive targets and submit back to line manager.
- Meet a monthly JC target of 50 activities to include the following sub types “i.e. Sales Calls, Entertainment, Telemarketing, Site Inspections.”
- Review daily the guest arrival list to highlight VIP’s and returning guests.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably with an international hospitality company or a recognized blue-chip organization.
- Knowledge within the markets of its portfolio.
- Excellent sales skills and proven ability to influence clients to lead to higher revenue generations.
- Creative and innovative approach to sales activities.
- Strong understanding of core hotelier operations.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong capability with Salesforce and JBI, Revenue Management and Windows Suite.
