Job Description

The National Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs that align with the organization’s strategic objectives, with a focus on the growth and empowerment of our national workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify learning needs and design training programs than enhance the skills and capabilities of national employees.
  • Implement initiatives that support the career growth and progression of national talents, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars to deliver impactful learning experiences, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Work closely with HR to establish and implement performance evaluation processes, providing insights for individual and organizational development.
  • Develop and oversee mentorship and coaching programs to connect national talents with experienced professionals, fostering knowledge transfer and professional growth.
  • Stay abreast of learning technologies and integrate innovative tools to enhance the effectiveness and accessibility of digital learning initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data on learning and development metrics, preparing regular reports to assess the impact of programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to travel across the country as needed for training sessions and other learning initiatives.
  • Be open to performing administrative tasks to support the seamless operation of learning programs. ( excel, ppt, powerbi)
  • Maintain accurate records of the training activities, participant progress, and evaluations.

Qualifications

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances and considerations in workforce development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and other e-learning technologies

Experience:

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs.
