Social Media Content Creator – Emirati Applicants
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and culturally fluent Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging Arabic and English content for various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Abu Dhabi’s cultural and governmental context, and be able to craft platform-specific, timely, and strategic content that aligns with national messaging and public sentiment.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Develop original, high-quality Arabic and English content (text, captions, visuals, and short scripts) tailored to Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Snapchat.
- Align tone, style, and messaging with Abu Dhabi government communication priorities and public engagement strategies.
Real-Time & Reactive Posting:
- Create timely content for events, announcements, and national days.
- Support real-time social media coverage of government events and campaigns, with rapid turnaround and approvals.
Visual & Video Coordination:
- Work with videographers and designers to develop storyboards and short-form video content.
- Propose creative concepts and trends aligned with audience preferences and platform best practices.
Trend Monitoring & Ideation:
- Stay updated on local and regional social media trends, cultural moments, and influencer activity.
- Propose content ideas that align with trends while maintaining brand voice and integrity.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate closely with social media managers, Arabic/English editors, photographers, and content approvers.
- Follow publishing workflows and brand guidelines for public sector content.
Required Qualifications:
Familiarity with platform-specific features (e.g., Reels, Threads, TikTok, Stories, Shorts).
Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
At least 6 years of content creation experience in government, media, or agency settings.
Strong copywriting and captioning skills in Arabic and English.
Proven experience working with creative teams on visual or video-led content.
Understanding of Abu Dhabi culture, tone of voice, and public communications etiquette.
