Job Description

Clinical Care:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including fractures, joint dislocations, soft tissue injuries, and complex trauma cases.
  • Perform emergency and elective orthopedic trauma surgeries, including open reduction internal fixation (ORIF), intramedullary nailing, and joint reconstructions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on functional recovery and patient-centered care.


Emergency and Acute Care:

  • Provide on-call coverage for orthopedic trauma emergencies.
  • Manage polytrauma patients in collaboration with emergency medicine, anesthesiology, and critical care teams.


Surgical Expertise:

  • Conduct advanced procedures for complex cases, such as pelvic and acetabular fractures, limb reconstruction, and deformity correction.
  • Utilize minimally invasive and cutting-edge techniques to improve patient outcomes.


Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including trauma surgeons, physical therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to deliver holistic care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning for complex trauma cases.


Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
  • Valid medical license to practice in UAE.
  • Established practice and a strong surgical Logbook
  • Extensive experience managing and treating a broad range of trauma cases.
  • Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
