Job Description
Clinical Care:
- Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, including fractures, joint dislocations, soft tissue injuries, and complex trauma cases.
- Perform emergency and elective orthopedic trauma surgeries, including open reduction internal fixation (ORIF), intramedullary nailing, and joint reconstructions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on functional recovery and patient-centered care.
Emergency and Acute Care:
- Provide on-call coverage for orthopedic trauma emergencies.
- Manage polytrauma patients in collaboration with emergency medicine, anesthesiology, and critical care teams.
Surgical Expertise:
- Conduct advanced procedures for complex cases, such as pelvic and acetabular fractures, limb reconstruction, and deformity correction.
- Utilize minimally invasive and cutting-edge techniques to improve patient outcomes.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including trauma surgeons, physical therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to deliver holistic care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning for complex trauma cases.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.
- Valid medical license to practice in UAE.
- Established practice and a strong surgical Logbook
- Extensive experience managing and treating a broad range of trauma cases.
- Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
