Teacher of Humanities (GP/ SSt/ EM)

Job Description

  1. Develop lesson plans and curriculum for secondary level humanities subject.
  2. Teach students about different cultures, historical events, geography, and social studies concepts.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment in the classroom.
  4. Assess students’ progress and provide feedback on their performance.
  5. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support students’ holistic development.
  6. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Skills

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in education (B.Ed.), Bachelors/Masters in Humanities, or a relevant field.
  2. Strong knowledge of geography, history, and social studies concepts.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Patient, empathetic, and passionate about working with young learners.
  5. Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  6. Creative and innovative teaching methods.
  7. Proven experience in teaching secondary level students.
  8. Continuous professional development and willingness to learn and grow in the field.
