Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Teaching Assistant role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Teaching Assistant will support classroom teachers in delivering lessons, preparing learning materials, and organizing resources aligned with the school’s curriculum and values. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom management, providing individual and small-group support, and helping learners with activities in core subjects, including mathematics. The role also involves supervising students during transitions, break times, and school activities to ensure a safe and positive environment. The Teaching Assistant will collaborate closely with teachers and staff, maintain clear communication with the team, and contribute to a peaceful, learner-centered classroom climate.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Assistant Teaching and Education, with the ability to support lesson delivery and classroom activities.
  • Comfort and confidence in Working With Children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a child-centered approach.
  • Basic proficiency in Mathematics to assist learners with age-appropriate numeracy tasks and activities.
  • Effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and families.
  • Relevant qualification or training in education, early childhood, or a related field; prior experience in a school or nursery setting is an advantage.
  • Ability to follow school policies, maintain confidentiality, and support an inclusive, multicultural learning environment.
  • Organizational skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward supporting classroom and school-wide activities.
