Tourism Senior Accountant- Arabic Speaker

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in travel, tourism, or hospitality, who can lead our financial operations and support the company’s ongoing growth.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute all day-to-day accounting operations (AR, AP, payroll, bank reconciliations, etc.)
• Maintain and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, P&L reports, and forecasts
• Manage booking reconciliations with suppliers, DMCs, hotel partners, and OTA platforms
• Supervise client invoicing, payments, deposits, and refunds in multiple currencies
• Ensure VAT compliance and prepare regulatory filings in the UAE and abroad
• Optimize accounting processes across CRM/ERP tools and booking systems (e.g., Travel Compositor)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and strategic decisions with insights and data
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and legal advisors as needed
• Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to ensure smooth cash flow and accurate reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the travel/tourism or hospitality sector
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, cash flow, and international payments
• Experience working with tourism booking platforms, OTA systems, and DMC reconciliation
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero) and CRM tools
• Excellent Excel and reporting skills; comfortable working in multi-currency environments
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai
