About Company
Children begin Kindergarten (KG1) in September once they turn 3 years old. This stage lasts for two years.
The Kindergarten program follows the US Common Core State Standards and the Core Knowledge Sequence, which focus on building strong basic learning skills in a simple and effective way. Science lessons are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Students learn Arabic, whether they are native or non-native speakers. Muslim students also study Islamic Studies based on Ministry of Education (MoE) guidelines.
The curriculum uses an integrated approach, where subjects like science and social studies are connected with other areas of learning and taught through themed units over several weeks. Along with this, children receive focused lessons in English, Arts, and Mathematics.
Skills are developed through a variety of topics, helping children apply what they learn in different situations.
Elementary School (Grade 1 to Grade 5)
Elementary School is a five-year stage that follows Kindergarten.
The learning environment is carefully designed to support young learners, with well-equipped classrooms that include interactive whiteboards and modern educational tools. Students take part in hands-on, activity-based learning that engages all their senses.
Class teachers handle most subjects, while specialist teachers teach Arabic, Islamic Studies (for Muslim students), UAE Social Studies, Music, and Physical Education. There are also dedicated rooms for ICT, Music, and PE.
The English Language Arts program helps students improve their speaking, writing, and listening skills. It focuses on accuracy, fluency, and understanding, with special attention given to different types of writing. Students also complete projects to deepen their learning.
Mathematics is taught in a way that connects concepts to real-life situations, and the science curriculum follows NGSS standards.
Learning is enriched through field trips, guest speakers, events, performances, and school celebrations.
Students study Science, Social Studies, and PSHCE through integrated lessons that encourage curiosity, active participation, and the development of 21st-century skills. The curriculum is designed to be language-rich, practical, and suitable for individual learning needs.
Middle School (Grade 6 to Grade 8)
Middle School is a three-year stage that prepares students for High School.
The program focuses on inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to ask questions, explore ideas, and think independently. It is based on Virginia standards and modern teaching methods that prepare students for future challenges.
English is the main language of instruction, except for Arabic, Islamic Studies, and UAE Social Studies, which are taught in Arabic as required by the Ministry of Education.
The curriculum follows Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English and Mathematics, and NGSS for Science. These standards are research-based, internationally aligned, and designed to develop higher-order thinking skills.
Students are encouraged to build confidence, leadership skills, and personal talents through extracurricular activities and elective subjects such as ICT, Computer Programming, French, and Music.
Arabic is compulsory for all students, and Islamic Studies is required for Muslim students. Classrooms are well-equipped with modern technology to support learning.
Teaching combines traditional methods with innovative approaches. Students participate in presentations, projects, and special activities. They also use multimedia tools to enhance their learning.
The focus is on active participation, independent thinking, and developing critical thinking skills while maintaining a balanced academic workload.
