1999 – The Launch of Matchworkers International
Inspired by the family’s entrepreneurial spirit, Joe Sunner founded Matchworkers International in 1999. The company became a pioneer in international recruitment by helping skilled hospitality workers from India secure legal employment opportunities in the UK. This innovative approach supported both workers seeking better opportunities and employers facing staff shortages.
Since then, Matchworkers International has built a reputation for trust, professionalism, and ethical recruitment.
2023 – Expanding into Greece
In 2023, Matchworkers International entered the Greek market and introduced seasonal hospitality recruitment services. After extensive planning and navigating complex regulations, the company successfully established operations in Thessaloniki, with expansion into other major cities soon following.
