About Company
Founded nearly 20 years ago, The Young Musician Music Institute has locations at Al Raha Mall and Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi. Our goal is to provide a professional, supportive environment where students of all ages can develop their musical talents. We focus not just on teaching instruments or singing, but also on performance skills through regular band and ensemble sessions.
Our Approach to Music Education
At The Young Musician, we expose students to all music genres, including Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Metal, Reggae, Country, and Classical. Our teaching emphasizes performance-based learning, as we believe performing regularly is the best way to gain true musical expertise.
Students also participate in seasonal concerts, giving them confidence and real-world experience in performing. Over the years, thousands of students have gone on to become professional musicians and educators.
Our faculty includes world-class music teachers from around the globe who guide students using their own professional experience.
Our Affiliation
We are affiliated with Trinity College, London, one of the most respected music examination boards. Our institute is an authorized Trinity exam center, offering exams in:
- Classical & Rock/Pop graded exams (Grades 1–8)
- Diploma programs: ATCL, LTCL, FTCL (equivalent to university-level qualifications)
- Theory of Music exams
- Performance-only certificate exams
This affiliation ensures our students gain internationally recognized certification for their skills.

Band & Ensemble Sessions
Students participate in band and ensemble practices to build teamwork, confidence, and performance skills while refining their unique musical abilities.
International Examinations
Our institute hosts Trinity College examiners six times a year to assess students. Students can take graded exams in performance and theory, as well as diploma programs for advanced learners.
Instruments & Music Books
Through our sister company, Musicians Corner, students and musicians can purchase quality instruments and books online. Our expert team helps both beginners and professionals choose the right instruments without breaking the bank.
Concerts & Recitals
We organize seasonal concerts where students can showcase their skills. Performing publicly helps students gain confidence and gives parents the pride of seeing their child succeed.
