Service Associate – Dot’s Café
Role Overview
As a Service Associate, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and supporting the daily operations of the café.
This position combines customer-facing responsibilities with operational support to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve orders promptly and professionally.
- Respond to customer questions and resolve concerns effectively.
- Ensure every guest enjoys a pleasant dining experience.
Team Support
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in onboarding and supporting new team members.
- Share customer feedback and suggestions with management.
Financial Responsibilities
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Support daily cash reconciliation procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages when needed.
- Assist with inventory and basic financial reporting tasks.
General Duties
- Maintain professional appearance, grooming, and hygiene standards.
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Restock supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Support the team with additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.
