Job Description
Job Purpose:
The HR Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing the company’s payroll accurately and on time in compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations. This role ensures proper handling of employee compensation, benefits, and statutory requirements while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee records related to salary, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, WPS (Wage Protection System), and company policies.
- Calculate and administer end-of-service benefits, gratuity, leave settlements, and final settlements.
- Handle employee queries regarding salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare payroll reports, including variance analysis, headcount, and cost summaries.
- Ensure confidentiality of payroll data and adherence to data protection standards.
- Support audits by providing required payroll documentation and reports.
- Tax and Benefits Deductions-Calculate and withhold appropriate federal, state, and local taxes.
- Support Audits-Assist in internal and external payroll audits by preparing required documentation
- Aware of Pension regulation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of payroll experience in the UAE, preferably within a multinational or large organization.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in HRMS/payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
